Our experience was greater than what we expected. This was something new to do as a team builder since our Oncology organization is not as large as the other departments within the organization. We choosing Chicago Dine-Around, I completely went off the Yelp reviews and I was hoping that wasn’t a mistake. And guess what, it wasn’t, it was FANTASTIC. Brandon arranged for ground transportation to pick up the group from our office (Northbrook) and bring us downtown so that individuals wouldn’t have to drive, which was a seller for us as our team hates to drive downtown after work. Brandon and his team met us at the first restaurant and the night began from there. The choices are restaurants they have to choose from and the individual attention that Brandon ensures you receive is amazing. We chose to go with his top tier package as this provided us with unlimited beverages. During the bus ride, it was nice to learn more about Chicago even though the majority of us are from here. We ended the evening with dessert at the drake Hotel which was amazing. What I loved about this experience is that at each stop we sat with different people, it wasn’t planned but something that came naturally to us to get to know other people in our organization that we don’t talk to on a daily basis. THE TEAM STILL TALKS ABOUT IT TODAY.
After experiencing such great service, I had my meeting planning department reach out to Brandon again for another event that I was responsible for a much larger audience as we thought this would be great for our out of town guest. Once again this was the best choice ever, and the greatest part was that Brandon was our host for this event. Once again we went to different restaurants for each course (dietary options are not an issue as Brandon ensures this is handled before we got to the restaurant). This team we have a cross-functional team that included senior level management and they LOVED IT. We ended our night at a Jazz Club for dessert but my group was having such a good time, I don’t know if we even listened to the jazz music. This event that Brandon sponsors is such a great team building event!!! What better way to get to know your colleagues and experience the taste of Chicago. What a fantastic idea that Brandon and his team came up with. We will definitely be participating again in the future, more when the weather gets nice as we did our last Progressive Dining Tour with him in February of this year.
